The Northern Local School District Curriculum Department is dedicated to supporting high-quality teaching and learning across all grade levels. We partner with our educators to implement high-quality instructional materials and research-based strategies that meet the diverse needs of our students. Assessment data is used thoughtfully to guide instruction, ensuring that decisions are responsive and focused on student growth. Our team also works collaboratively to set meaningful goals that drive professional development, empowering staff to continuously refine their practice. Through an Integrated Multi-Tiered System of Supports (I-MTSS), we provide a cohesive framework to support every learner—academically, socially, and behaviorally—so all students have the opportunity to grow and succeed.
The Northern Local School District has adopted Ohio's Learning Standards developed by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.
